Every stage has its own significance when a wine is being crafted, from the plot to the bottle: pruning, tending choices (conventional or organic), picking date, vinification style and maturing, to name but a few.
The vinegrower-winemakers of Cru Régnié take each of these stages to heart,
and use all their skills and know-how to create wines in their image.
Though whole bunch vinification of Gamay remains traditional for Beaujolais and appellation Régnié, it is no longer the only style used. Full or partial de-stemming opens new avenues in vinification where again, each winemaker adds in their own personality to create a broad range of wines.
